The Daff secured promotion following one of the club’s strongest campaigns in recent memory, losing just two league games all season while consistently producing performances full of intensity, character and attacking rugby.

Alongside their league success, Llandaff also enjoyed memorable cup runs, reaching two cup semi-finals and proving themselves competitive on every front throughout the year.

From the very beginning of the season, there was a sense that this squad was building towards something special. Week after week, the side found ways to win — whether through dominant displays, hard-fought battles or late moments of quality under pressure.

One of the standout features of the campaign has been the strength and depth throughout the squad. More than 50 players represented the First XV across the season, highlighting not only the depth available but also the togetherness and culture that has been built within the club. Every player who pulled on the jersey contributed to the success story.

The achievement is also a reflection of the hard work happening behind the scenes. Coaches, volunteers, supporters and sponsors have all played a massive role in helping drive the club forward, with strong support home and away throughout the season.

Promotion to Division 2 is another proud milestone in the club’s history dating back to 1876 and a reward for the hard work shown across the entire year.

For now though, the focus is simple — enjoy the achievement.
